How do I sign up to participate in research studies?
Signing up is simple! Just click the “Join Our Audience” tab on top of our website.
I get emails and calls for studies but don’t always qualify. Why am I answering pre-screening questions and not being invited to participate?
Different research topics have different criteria and it’s crucial we find the right community members to participate. It’s also important to place our community members in research topics that fit them best! You won’t qualify for every study but as a member we send pre-screening criteria to see which studies you may qualify for.
Sometimes I receive another call asking me similar questions from the first time I was contacted. Why?
Spotlight Research is dedicated to finding the right respondents for all of our research studies. If you received another call from us asking some or all similar pre-screening questions, it’s just one of our community specialists confirming that the data collector received all your answers correctly the first time.
How much do research studies pay for my participation and opinions?
Every research study is different in topic and length of participation. Our data collectors will confirm the compensation amount with you before scheduling you for any study.
How will my information be used after I register to be part of the community?
We take data privacy serious. Once you register to be part of our community, it will only be seen and used by us to invite you to paid research studies. Your information will never be shared with a third party and we work hard to make sure all our data is secure.
My information has changed from the 1st time I registered to be part of the community. How can I update it?
All you need to do is fill our the “Join Our Audience” form again with the most recent information and our system will update your old information automatically.
How do I unsubscribe from the community and stop getting calls or emails?
E-mail us at info@spotlightmarketresearch.com with the subject line “Remove From Community” and your full name/phone number. Please allow us at least 48 hours to process your request.
I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry and not part of your community. Why am I getting calls or emails?
- Eliciting, not soliciting. We are not selling anything; we are researchers asking for your opinions.
- Federal law regulates telemarketing. Telephone survey research is exempt from the federal telemarketing laws, and the National Do Not Call Registry, including those laws that require compliance with do not call requests.
- Additional information. You may obtain free information about telephone consumer rights from both the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
